Blue Suede Shoes

Its almost April!?!?
Did March even exist?! Goodness that month FLEW BY!

Few big things happened this month....Jeremy went to Ethiopia with Blue Ridge, and I went on a trip home! Put on my blue suede shoes & I boarded a plane, touched down in the land of the....and on & on it goes :)

I got to see my parents, Sister in law, nieces & nephew, and a few friends. it was a WONDERFUL time! Was so filled up & am now I'm back ready to jump back in!

It was also little Miss Ella's 1st plane ride...and um...it wasn't so hot. Listen to some of the stuff that happened...

The flight out there was a nightmare. I wish I was being dramatic. I'm not. it was horrible. I was supposed to fly out of Lynchburg, after waiting an hour & 1/2 the flight was declared canceled.
So I paid extra money only to have to bust it down to Roanoke to fly out of there...only for that flight to be delayed! So we finally got on that flight, and Ella screamed, not kidding, screamed the whole flight. It was so bad the attendant had to come help me distract her. :( yes, I was "that person" ugh.
she was just so so tired, she had only slept 40 min that day....and she wouldn't' sleep because of all the stuff going on. So we get to Atlanta & only have 50 min to go all the way to the other side of the airport to get to our gate, no time for lunch, got to gate & they were boarding....Ella cried this whole flight too. :(
ugh, at least on this one I could stand up in the back. So then we finally get to Denver, Ella still has not napped....and my ride was an hour late picking us up so we just waited for them...The real kicker to this is that, Ella was in a GREAT mood! haha second wind?? hahah WOW!

Then to top it all off, I got a call from my bank that my debit card had been hacked & $627 worth of xbox charges were coming out of my account.
ugh. Needless to say, it was a rough day. haha

But Wednesday was a new day & the rest of the week was wonderful & just what I needed! Can't wait to go back!! ♥

I can totally relate to your horror story of a first flight with an infant. Our flight got cancelled in Charlotte, and we had to stay the night - I only had 8 oz of formula and 5 diapers - no luggage!

But you survived and that's all that matters :)

(By the way I go to BRCC, my son Elias is in the cradle with Ella.)
